Who We Are

This website is operated by Friedlander Associates Inc., a New Jersey-licensed insurance agency (NJ Producer License 9725274, NPN 5735331) doing business as NJ Snow Plow Insurance. "We," "us" and "our" in this policy mean Friedlander Associates Inc.

What We Collect

Quote form. The quote form asks for your name, email address and phone number (all required) and, if you choose to give them, your business name, company website, number of trucks and type of operation. It also asks whether you want text messages about your quote, which is optional. If you tick that box, we record the consent wording you agreed to and the time you agreed. With the form you upload documents: declarations pages, policies, endorsements, client contracts, a property owner's or manager's insurance requirements, equipment lists or anything else you choose to send, as PDF, JPG, PNG or HEIC files up to 15 MB.

Those documents usually carry what a snow and ice quote needs: your business address, the properties you service, the trucks and equipment you run, payroll and workers' compensation class information, your current limits and endorsements, and prior claims. They often contain more than that, such as client names and contract terms. We use only what the placement requires.

Recorded with the quote form. When you send the quote form, the site also records the page you sent it from, the website that referred you, the page you first landed on, any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed, your browser type, and the names and sizes of the files you upload. We use this to see which pages lead to quote requests.

Contact form. The contact form is provided by GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). It asks for your full name, email address and phone number (all required), what you need help with (a quote question, a certificate of insurance request, renewal or billing, or something else) and your message. It also offers two optional, separate choices about text messages: one for messages about your inquiry and service, and one for marketing messages.

Booking calendar. If you book a call through the calendar on this site, which is also provided by GoHighLevel, it asks for your name, email address and phone number, records the time you choose, and shows a consent box for appointment confirmations and reminders by text or phone.

Website visits. Our hosting provider and analytics tools collect the information described under "Cookies, analytics and call tracking" below.

How We Use It

We use your information to prepare and place quotes. It is entered into carrier rating portals and submitted on carrier applications, and where a market is reached through a wholesale intermediary, your application data may be submitted to that wholesaler. We also use it to compare your policy with the contracts and insurance requirements you send, to service coverage, to issue certificates of insurance, to respond to your questions, and to meet our licensing and recordkeeping obligations as a New Jersey-licensed insurance producer. We do not sell your personal information.

Uploaded documents may be read first by secure document-processing services that use optical character recognition (OCR) and AI, so the details can be sorted and pulled into our quote workflow. A licensed producer at the agency then reviews every submission. The software sorts and extracts; it does not decide what we recommend.

We use your contact details to reply to you, to confirm calls you book and, if you have agreed, to send you text messages (see "Text messages" below). We use analytics information to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

We share your information only as needed to quote, bind or service coverage: with the carriers and rating portals we quote through, with a wholesale intermediary where a market is reached that way, and with a property owner, property manager, homeowners association, municipality, general contractor or other certificate holder you ask us to name. We also use the service providers listed below, which process information on our behalf to run this site, our forms and our quote workflow. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for any other purpose, except as required by law or regulation.

Service Providers

These companies process information on our behalf. Each receives only what it needs for its part of the work:

Our website hosting provider: serves this site, handles the requests your browser sends to it, and records the aggregate visit statistics described below.
GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): our contact form, booking calendar, customer relationship management (CRM) system and text messaging.
n8n: workflow automation that receives quote form submissions and routes them to the agency.
Document-processing services: tools that may read and convert uploaded documents using OCR and AI so the details can be extracted for your quote.
Google Workspace (Gmail): email delivery, including the email that brings your submission to the agency.
IPE Systems: the technology company that builds and maintains our website forms and quote workflow; it receives copies of submissions for that purpose.
A call-tracking phone service: if we show a call-tracking number and you call it, the service logs the calling number, the time of the call and how long it lasted.
Google Analytics 4, when in use: website analytics, as described under "Cookies, analytics and call tracking" below.

Text Messages

Consent first. We get your express consent before we send any text message. You give it by ticking the text-message box on the quote form, by choosing a text-message option on the contact form, by agreeing to appointment messages when you book a call, or by asking us directly. Our texts are about your insurance inquiry, your quote, your appointments and the service of your coverage. If you also choose the separate marketing option on the contact form, we may send occasional messages about our services. Texts come from our business texting number and are sent by Kid From The Apts., LLC, which runs text messaging for NJ Snow Plow Insurance on behalf of Friedlander Associates Inc.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to get a quote or buy coverage from us.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt out and help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; we will send one confirmation and no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, call (908) 730-6443, or email jeff@friedlanderinsurance.com.

Mobile information is never shared for marketing. We never share or sell mobile numbers or text-messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are shared only with the service providers that run our forms and deliver our messages, and only for that purpose.

Age. You must be 18 or older to sign up for text messages.

Cookies, Analytics and Call Tracking

This site uses essential cookies and first-party analytics. Our hosting provider records aggregate statistics about visits, such as the pages viewed, the website that referred you, your device type and your country, so we can see how the site is performing. We don't use that information to track you across other sites.

We may also use Google Analytics 4. When it is in use, it sets first-party cookies in your browser to count visits and record how you arrived, the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (derived from your IP address), so we can see how the site is performing. Google processes that information on our behalf. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features may not work properly.

The contact form and the booking calendar are embedded from GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which may set its own cookies to operate them.

We may show a call-tracking phone number on this site. If you call it, the call-tracking service logs the calling number, the time of the call and how long it lasted, so we can tell which pages lead to calls.

We do not use advertising pixels, and we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and Security

We retain records for as long as needed to service your policies and to satisfy legal, regulatory and recordkeeping requirements, then dispose of them securely. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information in our care.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold, subject to our recordkeeping obligations, and you can opt out of marketing email and marketing texts at any time. To make a request, contact the agency at jeff@friedlanderinsurance.com or (908) 730-6443.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top.
