These terms are an agreement between you and Friedlander Associates Inc. (doing business as NJ Snow Plow Insurance), a New Jersey-licensed insurance agency (NJ Producer License 9725274, NPN 5735331). By using njsnowplowinsurance.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Informational Content, Not Advice

The coverage explanations, who-we-insure pages, region pages and guides on this site are general educational information about insurance for New Jersey snow and ice contractors. They are not a quote, a binder, or a recommendation for your specific operation, and they do not create coverage. Policy forms, limits, endorsements, exclusions and pricing vary by carrier, by operation and by risk. Nothing here amends or interprets any policy you hold; the wording of your own declarations page and endorsements controls.

Where we describe a snow and ice exclusion, an additional insured endorsement or how a plow truck is classified for auto coverage, we are describing how those forms generally behave for this class of business. Whether yours behaves that way is a question about your paper, not about this page.

Law, Ordinances and Weather Data We Cite

Pages on this site cite New Jersey statutes, court decisions and municipal ordinances, and snowfall and storm data from NOAA and the Office of the New Jersey State Climatologist. We cite them as general information, because they shape what a snow contractor's insurance program should look like.

Those summaries are not legal advice and are not a substitute for reading the statute, decision or ordinance itself. Statutes, case law and ordinances change, and your municipality, a property owner or your contract may impose duties this site does not describe. Weather figures describe a named station and period; they are not a forecast and do not describe conditions at any particular property. For legal questions about a claim, a contract or an ordinance, talk to your own attorney.

Quotes and Placement

Submitting a quote request, your declarations pages, a client contract or a property manager's insurance requirements does not bind coverage and does not create an agency or client relationship until we confirm it in writing. Coverage is bound only when a carrier issues it. Quoted figures, indications and turnaround times are estimates and depend on underwriting.

When we compare a contract's insurance requirements with your policy, we read it as insurance professionals, and that comparison is not legal advice about the contract. A certificate of insurance is information only. It does not amend, extend or alter the coverage of the policy it describes.

Documents You Send Us

When you upload declarations pages, policies, contracts, insurance requirements, equipment lists or payroll summaries, you confirm you are entitled to share them, including any contract or bid document a client gave you. Please do not send us personal information about your employees or customers beyond what a quote requires; where payroll or claims records include it, we will use only what the placement needs. Uploaded documents may be read by secure document-processing services, including OCR and AI tools, before a licensed producer reviews them, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The content, design and marks on this site are owned by Friedlander Associates Inc. or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Carrier and equipment manufacturer names shown anywhere on the site are the property of their respective owners and appear for identification only. Images on this site are illustrations; they do not show any client, property or job of ours.

Limitation of Liability

The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Friedlander Associates Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information presented here.

SMS and Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from NJ Snow Plow Insurance, a trade name of Friedlander Associates Inc. Messages come from our business texting number and are sent by Kid From The Apts., LLC, which runs text messaging for NJ Snow Plow Insurance.

• Program name. NJ Snow Plow Insurance.
• What we send. Messages about your insurance inquiry, your quote, your appointments and the service of your coverage, plus occasional marketing messages only if you separately agree to them.
• Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. We will send one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.
• Help. Reply HELP for help, call (908) 730-6443, or email jeff@friedlanderinsurance.com.
• Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
• Age. You must be 18 or older to use this service.
• Privacy. How we handle your information, including mobile numbers and text-messaging consent, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
